MilRes

All over the world and in Türkiye, the wind is free and a huge market. The Ministry of Energy announced that it supported the "MİLRES" Project in 2011 to create a global wind turbine brand.

The first stage aimed to develop a 500 KW wind turbine and make a 2.5 MW prototype after the design was matured. In the project, there were 5 main authorized institutions, nearly 120 academicians, and a budget of 55 million TL.

Sabancı University carried out the management and mechanical systems of the project, blades by TUSAŞ/TAI (Turkish Aviation and Space Industry Inc.), control and electronic systems by Istanbul Transportation Inc., generators and electrical systems by TÜBİTAK MAM and wind analysis and structural systems by Istanbul Technical University. This project’s goal was to establish an original wind industry in which the design and the technology belong to Türkiye and can compete with world standards. Domestic industrial organizations also supported the project in producing the necessary parts for the system. Finally, MİLRES A.Ş. was established, and the project was commercialized.

All parts such as electronic control systems, software, blades, hubs, gearbox, generator, converter, tower, and the nacelle were produced in Türkiye. The project used 100% MİLRES technology and more than 80% domestic raw materials. We have seen the correct targets in this project and those who have worked over the years. By adding our experience, knowledge, and efforts, we have included it for a future worthy of the project’s initial goals. We immersed ourselves in it. With influential stakeholders in the supply chain, we have decided to make it an international brand of Türkiye.

In our logo, two separate “M” letters are used to describe the two-stage process of MilRes. The unity of MilRes, which is in the R&D process, and MilRes, which is currently the company, is emphasized by the fact that the two “M” letters are complementary to each other.

It was also reflected that R&D MilRes was a beginning and that it is now climbing the ladder of success.

Red “M” denotes the incorporation of MilRes, the effort spent, the effort made. At the beginning of the road, the effort of the renewed MilRes is at maximum.

Blue “M” refers to a MilRes in the R&D process that has not yet been commercialized.

Red “M” and Blue “M” are now equal and this shows that MilRes, which has proven itself well, is now able to develop more easily with its partners and new investors joining together.

The fact that the blue “M” is now in the same proportion as the red “M” symbolizes that MilRes is actually a very powerful idea and proves itself to everyone with new investors and supports.

The red “M” indicates that MilRes Partners are putting themselves in the background in order to commercialize MilRes with the success of MilRes.

At this stage, blue M represents achieving the goal, incorporation of MilRes and success.
